Davison & Davison was founded on a passion for helping homeowners and business owners protect their most important investments. As third-generation builders, we have hands-on experience that stretches back decades — knowledge passed down through our family of master craftsmen. Our team includes former insurance company adjusters, mitigation company owners and general managers, and real estate professionals. Our collective unique backgrounds shape our approach to public adjusting, allowing us to quickly recognize the true scope of structural damage, find hidden issues, and accurately assess repair or rebuilding costs.

Over the last 30+ years, we’ve honed our skills in both construction and insurance claim negotiation. We’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be for property owners to navigate the insurance company red tape, especially under the stress of property damage. That’s why our mission is simple: we handle every detail of the claim process so you can focus on rebuilding your life.

Davison & Davison Public Adjusters is a company based out of Boston Massachusetts, United States. We are members of NAPIA & MAPIA. We are licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas, and have affiliates across the country.

Daniel S. Davison, Sr.

President, CEO and Public Adjuster

With over 24 years of experience in general construction and public adjusting, Dan is a third-generation contractor and the president of Davison & Davison Public Adjusters Inc. He leads a team of professionals who help homeowners and businesses recover from property damage and get proper compensation from insurance companies. He has a strong background in construction, project management, and contractor relations, and has successfully handled multiple large-scale and complex claims across various regions. His mission is to be an adjuster for the PEOPLE, and to provide quality, honesty, and integrity in every case. Dan is passionate about helping his clients rebuild their lives and properties. He strives to exceed their expectations and deliver exceptional results. Dan is also the CEO of DSD Enterprises Inc., a family-owned and operated construction company that offers a range of services, from remodeling to restoration. He takes pride in his work and his heritage and aims to uphold the values and reputation of his grandfather, who founded the company in 1947. Dan is always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the field of public adjusting and construction. He welcomes any challenges and collaborations that can enhance his expertise and benefit his clients and community.

Mike Garofalo

General Manager, Public Adjuster, SPPA, AIC, AINS, CPAU

A former Claims Service Specialist and Field Property Adjuster with a well-known insurance company, Mike has extensive experience adjusting homeowners’ and business claims, handling a myriad of losses of varying degrees of scope and complexity. He is an integral part of our Catastrophe Team assisting many clients in Texas, Louisiana and Florida with their hurricane claims.

He earned the Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA) designation in 2019. Created by the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, this designation is reserved for an elite group of public adjusting professionals who are committed to achieving a high level of competence in the field. Mike also holds additional designations as an AINS – Associate in General Insurance (from The Institutes Knowledge Group) and a CPAU – Certified Property Appraiser and Umpire – from the IAUA, the Association of Property Insurance Appraisers and Umpires.

Mike earned his Associate in Claims (AIC) in 2020. Also created by the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, obtaining this designation is a benchmark goal for most insurance company adjusters. A Haag Certified Roof Inspector, certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) in Water Remediation and Mitigation, he is a former Project and Business Development Manager for a large mitigation franchise.

Mike holds an Associate degree in Business Administration Management from Massasoit Community College and a bachelor’s degree in history from Bridgewater State College. He lives in Rockland with his family, where he served on the School Committee and is currently Chairman of Rockland Recreation. Committed to public service, Mike was also a founding member and Director of Fundraising & Development for P.A.R.K., Play Areas for Rockland Kids, which was founded to develop and maintain a new public playground for the town.

Mike is currently licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas.

Tanya Anthos

CFO

Tanya oversees daily company operations. Tanya has maintained affiliations with both the Massachusetts Division of Insurance as well as the state’s Insurance Library. Tanya believes that the cornerstone of her success is her compassion coupled with her ability to connect with others in both the community and this industry. In recognition for her outstanding body of work, she earned the “Spirit of the Community” award in 2016. Tanya prides herself on educating people about public adjusting in general and, most importantly, how we help families and businesses navigate insurance claims.

Jim Brown

Public Adjuster

Jim is a licensed Public Adjuster as well as our in-house building estimator. He began his career in construction over 35 years ago. His career in our industry began by working for an Independent Insurance Adjusting firm. In this capacity, Jim learned the insurance company side of the business, as insurance companies will often hire Independent Adjusters to assess claims on the insurance companies’ behalf.

He then moved into the remediation side of the business as an owner and partner of a large mitigation franchise. During his 27-year career in mitigation, Jim earned (and continues to maintain) several certifications, including blood borne pathogens, fire, water & ASD (Advanced Structural Drying), and is a member of the American Bio Recovery Association. Jim also holds both Home Improvement Contractor and Construction Supervisor Licenses along with 30 Hour OSHA certification.

Jim’s move into the public adjusting side of the business was a natural progression, allowing him to utilize his extensive experience and knowledge of construction, remediation, restoration, and project management on behalf of our clients. Jim is passionate about his commitment to customer service, and we are proud to have him on our team!

Jim is licensed as a Public Adjuster in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Paul Lieu

Public Adjuster

Paul is a multi-faceted talent, with well over a decade of experience handling claims in various insurance fields. As a licensed Realtor with over 20 years of experience, Paul prides himself on providing outstanding customer service and being responsive to his clients’ needs. Paul believes in the personal touch, and that a phone call is a more effective means of communication than an email or text. A proud Vietnamese immigrant, Paul is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Khmer.

Anthony Timmons

Contents Specialist

As our in-house Contents Specialist, Anthony’s is the arduous task of meticulously researching and preparing clients’ damaged property claims. His incredible attention to detail and outstanding work ethic to provide our clients’ insurance companies with a finished spreadsheet of damaged personal or business property that includes unit pricing as well as verifiable links to all comparable replacement items so that portion of the claim is fully vetted and quantified. Anthony’s commitment to providing outstanding customer service to our clients makes him a valued asset to our team.

Patrice Green

Director of Operations

Patrice has over 30 years of professional sales, operations, management and marketing experience across the high tech, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, legal and insurance industries. She is a cum laude graduate of Boston College having majored in business management with a concentration in English. Patrice also holds a Certificate in Project Management, and has won several awards for her work in high tech. She is tenacious and persistent, with a passion for accuracy and customer satisfaction. A team player, she and Tanya work together behind-the-scenes to ensure a smooth-running operation for staff and clients alike.

Francisco’s visionary and dynamic leadership style enables him to successfully collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations and client relations to align our marketing efforts with the company’s business goals. He continuously explores innovative marketing channels, embraces evolving technologies, and refines strategies which communicate our company vision and mission to the general public and our valued clients.
