Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?2025-04-13T01:47:37+00:00

Simple — contact us for a free consultation. We will review your situation, explain your options, and help you decide what your next steps should be.

Why do I need a Public Adjuster?2025-04-13T01:48:16+00:00

The burden of proof for the claim falls on you, the policy holder. That means you must prove all the damage that you are claiming, or the claim may be denied. When was the last time you read your insurance policy? Do you understand the many provisions, riders, forms, and insurance language in your policy? If not, then it is almost impossible to prepare and present a thoroughly documented claim. When you are sick, you need a doctor. When you have a problem with your car, you go to your mechanic. We are the professionals who are looking out for your best interests when you suffer an insurance loss. We understand the language and the process. We know what it will take to “make you whole,” i.e., return your property to pre-loss condition.

Will my insurance company be upset if I hire a Public Adjuster?2025-04-13T01:47:48+00:00

You have every legal right to hire a public adjuster. Reputable insurers understand this and often prefer to work with experienced professionals who understand the process and paperwork.

How long does the claims process take?2025-04-13T01:48:24+00:00

The timeline varies based on the complexity of the claim and the responsiveness of the insurance company. However, with a public adjuster on your side, the process is typically more efficient and thorough. We will stay with you through the entire process, from your first phone call to us until we agree with your insurance company’s settlement and the claim is closed.

Do you work with both residential and commercial claims?2025-04-13T01:48:32+00:00

Absolutely YES. We assist homeowners, landlords, business owners, and property managers with residential and commercial property damage claims.

Can I still hire a Public Adjuster if I have already filed my claim?2025-04-13T01:48:40+00:00

YES. Even if you have already filed or received an offer, we can step in to review your claim and negotiate for a better settlement if the offer is inadequate. It is always a good idea to check with a public adjuster whenever you have a loss to make sure you are getting what you deserve.

When should I call a Public Adjuster?2025-04-13T01:48:50+00:00

You should contact us as soon as you experience property damage. The earlier we get involved, the better we can protect your interests and guide the claims process from the start.

What is a Public Adjuster?2025-04-13T01:49:38+00:00

A Public Adjuster is a person licensed by the State Division of Insurance Department. We are licensed professionals who represent the policyholders in negotiating insurance claims. Unlike adjusters hired by insurance companies, we work solely for you — the insured — to fully secure the indemnification that you are entitled! Public Adjusters are also required to continue their professional education by taking Continuing Education classes within each license renewal period. Many states also require Public Adjusters to be bonded. Buyer beware: Not all Public Adjusters are created equal, please be sure to check the background of the public Adjuster you are hiring.

Some Public Adjusters choose to take the next step by becoming members of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) following the association’s well-defined code of professional conduct and ethics.

Why should I hire a Public Adjuster?2025-04-13T16:28:16+00:00

Insurance companies have experts protecting their interests — and so should you. A Public Adjuster’s main goal is to help the insured achieve a prompt, reasonable settlement, then to work with the contractor for any supplemental claims and or code upgrade claims to bring the claim to a resolution. Managing claims is a full-time job. Public Adjusters level the playing field by managing the claims process, documenting damages, negotiating with the insurance company, and helping insureds get the best possible settlement. We focus on the claim, allowing the insured to get back to their normal routine as quickly as possible.

How much does it cost to hire a Public Adjuster?2025-04-13T01:49:53+00:00

Public adjuster fees represent a small percentage of the insurance company’s total payment. Fees are paid on a contingency basis, meaning we don’t get paid unless you do! There are no upfront costs to hiring us and our fee more than pays for itself in the greater return our clients receive by working with us. How much is your peace of mind worth?
